Program Rationale:

This assembly of ENEDA NCR member/educators is an offshoot of the CHED and the ENEDA National call for a more progressive stand in promoting entrepreneurial education nationwide.

Schools and educators, more than ever, have to take the lead in bringing about change, in bridging the gap between real life and the academe. In this event, the NCR educators will discuss:

1. Various entrepreneurship programs in the ENEDA NCR member schools
2. The present CHED directives in CMO No. 17
3. Issues and concerns about managing the entrepreneurship programs at the present curricula vis a vis CHED CMO No. 17, e.g.: school administration/resources; programs and their market, the student and their readiness; educators’ readiness or preparedness)
4. Strategies and Resolutions (in a Position Paper) to address the issues presented during the roundtable discussion/workshop; to collectively present them to the government agencies to truly be responsive to bringing about academic and developmental change, i.e.
• Come up with an Entrepreneurship Education Model (curriculum/laboratory; government or private sponsored investment and finance programs)
• Re tooling Educators: Training to become effective Entrepreneurship Educators in the Tertiary level
• School Support Programs from the Government: training, laboratory, for both students and educators;
